The example of research proposal and the distinction with my research proposal plan.

The Effects of Immediate Feedback Devices in High School Chemistry Classes by Marc W. Stephenson is an example about a research that paid more attention in the usage of immediate feedback devices. As usual, the students’ motivation and achievement depends on how the teacher performs strategies of learning in learning process. In this case, immediate feedback device is one of the objects research. As the distinction, I will explore about the extrinsic motivation in learning process. There are some factors that are related to that research, they are about motivation and effects of giving a way for increasing students’ motivation.

In purpose statement, there are 3 points that included, firstly, what is the effect of using immediate feedback devices on student motivation? Secondly, what is the effect of using immediate feedback devices on student achievement? Thirdly, the paper will also present a potential way to utilize these feedback devices in high school chemistry classes. In my research plan, will explore about: firstly, the types of extrinsic motivation? Secondly, what things that make the students get their extrinsic motivation in learning process? Thirdly, what are effects of extrinsic motivations in students’ achievements?

In the importance of study, the information would be of value to chemistry teachers working in a similar socioeconomic school setting to that of Saugus High School in Saugus, California. Differently, my research will be conducted in an English Course in Gorontalo.
